In Ann's own words....

What?

I shall be riding on the Velocity 2 zip line - the longest zip line in Europe and which is the fastest in the world reaching a speed in excess of 100 mph over the Penrhyn Slate Quarry, Nr Bethesda, North Wales.

Why?

As anyone who knows me knows, I like a challenge and to push my personal comfort zone.

The YMCA is a fantastic organisation serving those who have fallen away from what most of us take for granted on a daily basis.

Over recent months we all have had our way of life transformed and for many who fall under the YMCA umbrella it has been particularly difficult.

I will always do what I can, however barmy, for those who need a helping hand in life.

When?

11th August 2020 at 11.00AM

Target:

£500  (aiming high in faith!!)  ...NEW TARGET £700!

I think Ann is fearless - what a seriously scary challenge to set yourself! Ann has always been there for YMCA Cheltenham - being the very first person to ever sign up for Sleep Easy back in 2013, sleeping rough so others don't have to and always happy to volunteer her time to support us with event admin. Ann is not shy of a challenge, last year saw her wing walking across the skies of the Cotswolds... but that's another story. We wish you well Ann - you're amazing!
