Salary: £17,500 - £21,500 per annum full-time

Hours of work: 37.5 hrs per week
Hours: 8.00 am and 10.00 pm  
Flexible working is required to cover shifts including weekdays, evenings and weekends.  The role includes bank holiday working.

YMCA Cheltenham is a Christian Charity that seeks to meet the needs of young people and the wider community.

We are looking to appoint a Housing Support Worker to join our team in Cheltenham.

You will be an active member of the supported housing team, providing high quality, caring and cost effective support to our residents.

You will be involved in developing personal, social and spiritual programmes helping residents to reach their individual goals, leading to independent living.  You will be able to build positive relationships with a wide range of people, including residents, colleagues, partner and other local agencies, attending on- and off-site meetings as required.

The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously or be able to demonstrate the capacity to work with vulnerable/challenging client groups. 

Friendly and approachable, you will have the ability to be firm but fair, maintaining professional boundaries at all times.
