YMCA Launches Walking Netball in Cheltenham YMCA Cheltenham is proud to launch Cheltenham's first Walking Netball sessions YMCA Cheltenham, in partnership with England Netball, is starting Walking Netball from Monday, 18th September 2017 at the YMCA Sports Centre. A slower paced version of the game, Walking Netball is designed with the older adult in mind and means that, just because you cannot move as much as you used to, it doesn't mean you cannot enjoy all the fun and benefits of playing the sport. Walking Netball is a fast-growing sport and is looking to follow in the footsteps of its 'older brother', Walking Football, by providing a fun and relaxed atmosphere for ladies to get back into or continue playing a sport they have loved but feel they cannot continue to play at 'full pace'. And it's not just for the older person either, Walking Netball is ideal for anyone who is coming back from injury and looking to build themselves up to full fitness. Session Details When? Mondays 1.30pm - 3pm Where? YMCA Sports Centre Cost? £4 per session The first session on 18th September 2017 is FREE! All sessions will be delivered by qualified staff and all abilities, including beginners, are welcome. More details can be found here or if you have any questions please contact us.
