YMCA Cheltenham is a Christian Charity that seeks to meet the needs of young people and the wider community.  Currently YMCA Cheltenham is focussing on helping the homeless, providing affordable sports, health, exercise and fitness facilities; and delivering youth work.  We are passionate about our work and we are keen to attract like-minded people to join the team.

We are currently looking to appoint a Team Member at our accommodation business “Number 6” in Cheltenham.  We are looking for a talented individual to make our budget accommodation a special place for our guests to feel welcome and looked after.  Whether our guests’ day has been spent working as an intern in Cheltenham, studying at the University, exploring the Cotswolds or just visiting the local area, our team members should always be on hand to make their stay one to remember, whilst maintaining values in accordance with YMCA Aims & Purposes.

No two days are ever the same at Number 6, but a typical day might include: taking bookings; checking guests in and out; making sure the accommodation is of a high standard; setting up the conferencing facilities; promoting Number 6; carrying out maintenance checks; and assisting the housekeeping team.

So, if you are looking for an exciting challenge outside the standard nine-to-five, then joining the team at Number 6 could be the job for you.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week 
Salary:    £12,721 pa 
(Accommodation provided as part of this contract is taken into account when calculating this salary, as per government guidelines. The salary meets the National Living Wage threshold.)
Based at:   Number 6, YMCA Cheltenham, 6 Vittoria Walk, Cheltenham
